Indus River Valley
They domesticated animals, and created crops such as sesame, cotton, peas, and barley. Also known as Harappan and is located in southern Asia in present day Pakistan. They developed cities with advanced plumbing systems and mud brick platforms that guarded people from floods. The society started to develop when they started trading. They kept records with the advanced math that they practiced. |
Chinese River Valley
The main income for the society was agriculturally based products. This led to the division of labor and social class. They invented various tools to assist their farming. They developed agriculture by building houses above the riverbeds so that floods wouldn't destroy the homes. The discover of bronze contributed greatly to the civilization. They were able to create farming tools, weapons, armor, decorations, and building tools. |
